Riverside Dental was founded on North Seneca Street in 1978 by the late Dr. Joe Steven. Dr. Jasmin Rupp joined the practice in 2007, worked alongside him until his passing in 2015, and has owned Riverside Dental since 2017.

A graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry, Dr. Rupp joined Riverside Dental in 2007 and has owned the practice since 2017.
